It eats you alive.
Devours you bit by bit,
Ingesting anything human,
The mind, the heart,
The blood-driven parts.
Clawing away,
Like a cat at a mouse,
Eyes popped out.
It infects you with disease,
Possessing you with its poison,
Its sweet, sweet poison.
Nausea.
A thunderstorm of vomit,
Tears, and breaths.
Long, wasted breaths.
Irregular heart beats,
Ba-dum, ba-dum,
Pumping blood to all the wrong parts.
Your brain a little time bomb
Ticking to the clock.
Implosions in your skull
Are impossible to stop.
The sad thing is,
It doesn’t end,
Until you end it yourself.
